baby, its not the same

It has been a while. My apologies.

I reckon the times we shared are not judged based on the quantity of it but of the quality of it. There have been quite a few obstacles this month. Me, being me, definitely have my way or two of curbing/overcoming these obstacles. Others, not so much. I am alright if you need my two cents worth or need a listening ear. However, it have to come to a point where you either figure things out yourself, or heed my advice. I cannot keep listening to your complains because "life is short, move on",

Looking at photos of the happier times makes me wonder why don't everyone sit their asses down, and find the root of all evil? Eliminate the bad and you have the good, or simply be the friend who everyone wants to have and trash it out. I never like walking away from a problem but it really takes two hands to clap. If you think you can salvage it, why dont you do it? There has to be a limit nonetheless. That's up to one to decide where that said limit lies. Walk away with no regrets if you must.

Guilt trippin' is just stooping down to a level of I despise you.

The lack of motivation to pen down my thoughts has caused me to be really bad at writing. It seems that the vocab I once had is gone, and all that I've left is basic grammar and primary school list of words. I need to start reading and find my mojo back. I AM A MASS COMM GRAD FOR GOODNESS SAKE. Sometimes, I am just soooo disappointed at myself. I also need to find some me alone time - to find myself again.

I am a very emotional person, truth be told. I cry at every little touching story I hear and every scene in a romantic movie. As long as a character is in tears, you prolly catch me in tears too. That's beside the point. The point is I am greatly affected by everyone's actions. I chose not to show it. But secretly, whenever I see the happier past, I am like "why did yall change?" "why can't yall remain good together?".

People change, things change. Some go with the flow, others get led by the nose. Do you see the irony? Idk how to end this entry. I am just so sick and tired of pretentious beings. Okay, bye.

XPERIA by Sony Fashion TV Beach Festival

Celine and I
The Sony phone featured!

The ticket very chio hor! I like the wings concept. Prettaye!

I went for this event by FTV.. Quite an interesting experience I must say... My first Fashion event. Some more I get to see a 6k swimsuit. but a bit something wrong. imagine you pay 6k, you will wear to the beach meh? #justsaying... With le Meeeedeeeyaaa pass to the media area which was.... behind the stage? yeah. and I saw le host - Dawn Yang! pekpek like bai zhan ji liddat. hurhurhur.
Press pass! Innowayteeth. I like.

All you readers quite blessed. get to share my first with you all. (*^.^*) hehehehe.

ANYWAYS.

After reaching Tanjong Beach, we headed to the event site. It was damn messy cause we were lost as to where do we head to for the meedeeya area and apparently we couldn't sit at the sofa sits cause we no marnee buy for those seats. ohwells. understood that they need to earn money but I would actually prefer if we could sit at the front? get a better and total view of everything. Or maybe cause its my first and this is where meedeeya are usually placed to sit. *shrugs* but the perks of sitting at the back is that we can get more of the backstage action which was quite exciting also la. haha. so, got good got bad. up to you to decide whether you prefer to look which of the point of view also. (but I still prefer the front. more... zhen ti view)

Show you all another chio photo of two of us.

I think this one got a bit of the nurse feel

The slit so high!!!!

She was cute when coming down the steps. The heels too high then the steps like not very stable also. hahah. she was balancing like mad and didn't fall. Quite zai.

Mah Favourite outfit. I dig casual.

this was the first show. was a bit stumped cause they weren't in their beekeeneeeeee! where are the beekeenees?! but then... after scrutinizing the  schedule, I was too anxious. Bikinis later.. hehehe. the design of the clothes are intriguing. Not the Valentino, Christian Dior uber high end kinda shizz for you but the design not bad. but... the pants the slit can higher... so high how to wear out?! my cellulites all can see lei if i wear. all these hot bod models can wear cause they skinnaye. (I think if my sister sees me talking about fashion like that, she will murder me. *waves* Hi Jo!)

And look who got thristaye and had some Naked. water. (ifonlyicanputemoticonshere...) This water is actually smooth. I know la. Which water not smooth? You drink and it goes down, done. But it tastes kinda different to me lei. Like, its nicer to drink or maybe I'm having product bias-ness because I saw the Artisan word on le bottle. (finally.. daily application to my learning from Consumer Behaviour....)

AND. what we have been waiting for!! BEEKEENEEESSSSSSSS! very pretty! some of the bikinis so chio! I will wear it, definitely.. and showing you the 6k$ swimsuit........

The $6,000 Swimsuit!!!!! Lemme know if you think this is worthy of $6,000.....

I won't wear cause 6k$ lei! wah lao. I think if I ever get the chance to buy, I will frame it up and showcase it. haha. cause the stummy too fat. I think the diamonds will drop off the swimsuit cause of the bursting fats. hahaha.Plus I think that $6,000 on a swimwear is definitely not my idea of spending.. but if I ever have too much money to spare... why not right? hehehehe

Signing off,

You better WORK BITCH!

Everyone, no really, everyone knows how much I love love love Britney Spears. I dont have all of her albums but I do have all of her scents. And when someone asks me what perfume do I use, I proudly say "Its Britney, bitch."

I am so glad that she's back on track and of course, I am proud of her for getting back on track. Seeing your idol fall and rise up again, only reminds me of how human she is. She's like any one of us. At least, she didnt overdose and die coughcorycough.

Oktober @ Azur Restaurant Changi Airport, Singapore

Ad

With October here and beer, where can one go and have a quiet girly girls night out with a bunch of awesome girlfriends, without any chance of having our boyfriends/husband (Chris Chung, 2nd from the righ, is married) finding us?

Here! At Azur Restaurant @ Singapore Changi Airport, you can! Currently, because its October, Oktoberfeast is available for brunch and dinner - every weekend from 20th Sept to 5th Oct 2013.

You can't really go wrong with meat, meat, more meat and beer. Forget that you might discover something new about your tummy the next day.

The chef above was slicing those delicious, juicy, mouth watering pork knuckles. I usually stay away from them but I couldnt help to try. Was so crispy, I had to, like, have more!

Fill me up, Buttercup.

Azur, located at Crowne Plaza Hotel @ Changi Airport, also offers Bavarian Inspired dishes such as eggs cocotte with bacon, goulaschsuppe with herb and garlie croutons. What an Oktoberfeast!

Alright and before you think this is all that they have up their sleeves, you are dead wrong. One can also consume Asian dishes like (my favourite) Dimsum, Sushi and even padadum.

Sushiiiiii. SUUUUUUSSSHHHIIIII!

Chinese can't do work without rice, can we?

The canto in me really really got to stop this Dimsum business.

Indian!

And what's a buffet without angmoh food. Sausages, bacon, meat, potato, etc... my tummy just did a little dance while typing. Wish I could turn back time .

My date said the caramelized apple tasted delicious but it was a little too sweet for my liking. Perhaps, I am getting old. The only sweet things I can take are the romantic things laode does *smitten.

Nothing says seafood like fresh prawns, juicy scallops and chewy oysters. Too bad oldmantham doesnt take seafood. It could have been a deal breaker 'cause we dont share the same love for seafood and he may never peel a prawn for me ever if I didnt think "hey more for me!"

Of course, there has to be deserts! What a shrine. I can see unicorns, rainbows and glitter all over this photo.

Out of the entire shrine, oldmantham decided on these 4 to munch on. At this rate, he's gonna be crawling on the football field instead of running around. I might be able to get him the next time we are on the opposite team during dodgeball -insert evil plan(s)-.

So with him being old and all (not that old but I just like to tease him this way), I'd expect him to stay away from everything and anything sweet and sugary (except me). Instead we decided to spilt the assignment. I was already too full from the main so I had him try puddings and cake while I had ice cream, fruits and more cakes!

There was no way for me to not try the red velvet cupcake and apple crumble. My two favourite pastries. With this, I am completely sold. COMPLETELY SOLD. Even thinking about it now makes me.. crave. So lets go!

Oktoberfeast buffet prices for 28-29 Sep, 5-6 Oct:
Brunch - Adult $55++, Child $27.50++
Dinner - Adult $65++, Child $32.50++

Online reservations made on their website (link!) will be entitled to 15% off the total bill.

Azur is located in Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, level 2.

(and of course to view who #oldmantham is, all you got to do is add me on Instagram @robotgranny )
