Its a pledge! Makes yours today!

My messy room, ugly face (I showered already but the weather is horrible) and Koh sleeping on the bed.

Its a Tuesday and I am home! All because of the pledges I made! I feel good having to spend more time with my family especially my brothers. My brother, Alvin, got influence and he too has been home early these days so I made him sit down at my laptop and create a pledge.

I, Alvin Ng, will be going home immediately after school and CCA ends. I also promise to not hang out late at the void decks with my friends on weekdays. I will wake up early to go grandma's house on Sundays and not brush off not going to her place.

On Sunday, we went over to our uncle's place and Alvin was so co-operative! I am never seen this side of him for a few years now. So proud of him.

Photo taken with photobooth effects. That's Alvin, Perry and I!

You should make your family pledge this. This way, everyone in the family compromises and bond together! By pledging to do stuffs for your family, they will see the effort you put in and will therefore feel guilty into wanting to do things for the family as well! What better way to live your life?

Disappointment

I check my emails today because I was expecting a mail from swap-bot. Before I continue, I'd like to tell a special someone that he's been missed.

Dear Darryl,
I miss you. I dont know where have you been and I know for the longest time you dont want any calls/sms from me or anyone from NAFA. But, I still try to drop you a call/sms whenever I think of you. I want you to know that we are still friends no matter what happens. I no longer do that because I fear to hear the operator telling me that the number is no longer in use.

Guess what came into my mail today?

I thought you really send me an email after so long, telling me that you are fine and you want to hang out some time soon. But all I get was

Yes, spam mail.

Where are you? I dont understand why you stop talking to any of us. Its not fair. Today, I dont want to know what difficulties you have. I want to know if you still want to be friends. Oh Darryl, please do know that when you are ready, I am still here waiting for you.

Love,
Celine.

Time Back Turner

After watching each episode of The Big Bang Theory, I often am amazed by science, how geeks can absorb it all, etc. I often feel that the only technology that is still left uninvented is the time traveller. If you remember the movie Back To The Future, they predict that by 2011, there will be flying cars! What do we see now? iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, iPad, iPhone 4G. Is there a need for a product with multiple improvement? I think inventors and those in the R&D should research, invent and develop Time Machines.

If I could turn back time, there are tons of stuff I'd like to change. I'd like to be the only child. I'd like to save more money when I was younger. I'd like to study harder and do A levels instead. I'd like to be less fucked up.

From the team that brought the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (JAKE GYLLENHAAL) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (GEMMA ARTERTON) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

If I have a dagger that can turn back time and am able to change an event in my life, I'd take up that chance. I believe events in life is inevitable. It all happens for a reason; one event will lead to another and soon, it will be the end of life. And I also believe that if habits of the good are not teach since young, God also cannot help you. If I turn back time, I will could like it to be 2001 all over again. I will spend more time with my baby brother and cultivate him, influence him to be the boy he could be.

Not all is lost. He is still young. I hope to still be able to hang out more with him and teach him the correct way of treating people. Despite being not home, he still clings to me whenever I am home. The change of the lifetime still exist!

PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME tells a story of a prince and a rival princess working hand in hand to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time

Coffee Club serves good Mudpie. Sinful Mudpie.

Remember how I mentioned about me pigging out? First up, sorry for all the formspring spams recently. I forgot to check off the box to not post it to blogger. Koh and I celebrated our 9th months of knowing each other by going on a date. We had dinner at Coffee Club, Raffles City. I had like the best impression of them when I went to Coffee Club, Wheelock. But, after having dinner at the branch at Raffles City Singapore, I decided I am never going to go back there again. Okay, maybe go back for their mudpie!

My not-so-delicious Alfredo. It was bland and too watery.

Hes smiling just because its for the camera.

And the food.
Nom Nom!
Sandwich. That was so-so.

The 'old man' in him.
Our finished soup! The only nice thing we had.

My pasta that tasted bad.

I've been to Coffee Club twice now and my rating for it is 50-50. Lets hope if I do go back there, the food serve will be to my tasting.

you put on a lot of weight since nafa. how?

You just eat and be merry! That's how. Back in NAFA, I had classes that makes me run and sweat but the only exercise I do after I quit is run for bus. I really enjoy my food these days and truth behold! I am starting to do sit ups before i sleep.

Tuesdays with morrie. what do you think of the idea of dedicating a single day to a person every week?

I always thought it's Tuesdays with Morries! Must have mixed it up w the brand of the fan. Nonetheless, I reckon I enjoy the idea! I spend most of my Tuesdays w a bunch of people and we like the idea too! Dedicating a day isn't easy esp when we are all busy with our lives but if it is possible for me to dedicate a single day to a person every week, I'd gladly take it up . Idk what I will be able to learn !

did you know you really talk about yourself too much. Self absorbed much?

I think everyone talks about themselves. Talking too much is not self absorbed. It really depends on how much the person likes to speak on a normal basis. I really talk alot and I can go on and on! Sorry if this bothers you 'cause it doesn't matter.

How's your quest to spend more family time going?

In conjunction of:

I havent been home. I usually party my weekends away and give my parents excuses like I party because I only got weekends to do so, I party because got guest DJs, I party because my friends ask me too, etc.

Recently, because of swap-bot, I have to. I look forward to seeing my desk for mails than to say hi to anyone at home. I do not have family problem(s). In fact, I reckon I am the luckiest daddy's girl (besides what you see on MTV). I am not home because I stay with my friend who stays near school. And because of that, I got lazier.

I always feel guilty and guiltiness I shall feel no more for:

I, Celine N., hereby promises to come back home every weekend to spend time with family. To start off, I am going to have to be home by friday night, try not to go partying somewhere and only head home on sunday night after another night of battling w alcohol.

Since, I know I will not put off partying, I think I better start with: I will have breakfast with dad every sunday morning, go out with mum every sunday afternoon and dinner with Grandma every sunday evening.

Why? Read the following.
