In conjunction of:

I havent been home. I usually party my weekends away and give my parents excuses like I party because I only got weekends to do so, I party because got guest DJs, I party because my friends ask me too, etc.

Recently, because of swap-bot, I have to. I look forward to seeing my desk for mails than to say hi to anyone at home. I do not have family problem(s). In fact, I reckon I am the luckiest daddy's girl (besides what you see on MTV). I am not home because I stay with my friend who stays near school. And because of that, I got lazier.

I always feel guilty and guiltiness I shall feel no more for:

I, Celine N., hereby promises to come back home every weekend to spend time with family. To start off, I am going to have to be home by friday night, try not to go partying somewhere and only head home on sunday night after another night of battling w alcohol.

Since, I know I will not put off partying, I think I better start with: I will have breakfast with dad every sunday morning, go out with mum every sunday afternoon and dinner with Grandma every sunday evening.

Why? Read the following.

NATIONAL FAMILY CELEBRATIONS 2010 (NFC 2010)

Organised by the National Family Council, National Family Celebrations is an annual event which celebrates and reinforces the importance of families and family life. This year, Singaporeans are encouraged to make a personal commitment to their families by being a part of the Singapore Family Pledge Movement.

To provide opportunities for Singaporeans to follow through on the pledges to their families, there are a myriad of activities under the NFC 2010 calendar – which will interest the young, the old, and everyone in between! NFC 2010 will be held from 25 May to 26 June 2010, and this year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Celebrations. For more information on NFC 2010, visitwww.nfc.sg

Send in your entries to pledge@nuffnang.com by 20th May 2010, 2359H, and winners will be notified on 22nd May via email.

Winners will have to blog about the outing with their families at the attractions on 29th May.

*To double your chances of winning, log on to www.nfc.sg and make your pledge there as well.

Nuffnang is happy to be supporting this movement and would like to urge all Nuffnangers to make the 29th of May a day we all bring our families out to show our appreciation for them. Let us join the rest of Singapore to make this happen.

From next week onwards, I am going to come home. To prove that I am home, I will take a photo of myself from coming home to me sleeping. No, I will not be an idiot taking the photos in advance with the change of clothes -.-
