Laze

Sunset at Ko Phi Phi .

The littlest things picks you up and turns you around. If you feel discourage, there is always a lack of colour until you find the littlest thing - the spectrum A to Z . It's the littlest things that don't matter, matter. I should have given you a reason to stay, but I chose to walk away .

This is fact, not fiction, for the first time in months . Everything about us was based on my fantasy ; that voice in my head . I've been thinking lately, you don't need me anymore . And god knows, it's a common misconception that you are the one for me . I was certain about it . In fact, I could flew you to France if you asked.

Of course, that doesn't matter anymore , because the littlest things do not exist .

Agnes B - cause I can ||

Exactly a year ago, I was sourcing for a new wallet and decided on an Agnes B royal purple with gold prints wallet . The sales person told me that the gold is not imprinted, but embroidered in, therefore the gold will never fade away. A good buy, I thought to myself . Worth the money, I further encouraged myself .

Of course nothing last forever . It's not like I mistaken my wallet as a football and trashed it around, however nothing gold can stay.

Little did I know, exactly a year later, I found myself buying yet another wallet . I happened to be at IMM and happened to walk into an Agnes B outlet store and guess what. My eyes happened to notice something red, classic and beautiful. This time, I made my own mind up. No more sales person talks on the product.

what's in the bag ?

 ahhhh !

is this a joke ?!

!!!!

what a beauty !

And I got it at such a steal, compared to the previous one. Although I'd like to have a compartment where I can put a photo, I didn't want to have to compromise with the number of card slots. A girl got to have tons of discount cards in her wallet at all times - you will never know when you need it .

Goodbye old Agnes B. Hello new Agnes B. I don't even know who Agnes B is but Agnes B cause I can .

2013 in a nutshell

Looking back into 2013, I saw myself in different cities, in different sizes and as a whole. I fell, picked myself up, and found myself again. It was a year of growing up, not growing old. Then, I became this overthinker I never thought I'd be. Now, I am calming my tits down every other day with the help of xt9a.

Friends -
Wished I made more time for friends in person. I used to be able to make time so easily to hang and just have dinner with friends. Now, all I do is "eh lets meet up" but left it at that. I am ashamed to be one of those people. My friends got married and had kids yet I think I the only one who havent held any babies in 2013.

On the other hand, I watched my two favourite Kakaks walk down the aisle... and thats because I made time for it therefore, in 2014, I HAVE to make time. Period.

Melbourne

Beijing

 Tioman

 Bangkok

Hongkong

Travels -
I did more travelling than usual years - Melbourne, KL, Genting, Beijing, Tioman, Bangkok, Hongkong -. Surprised that I went to Bangkok only once but still, brought a whole lot of shopping back. Finally visited a non asian country and got myself a diving license. I am, forever, gonna be looking forward to exploring new places.

Relationships -
Koh and I remained as friends and I am very happy about it. It feels and seems like we have unfinished business but that is for Future Celine to care about. Oldman and I are.. the same - status unknown however I am still enjoying our sundates.

Jack and Lachie

Career -
Gave up my local students and welcomed plenty more International students. While a couple of my International students had to give me up, I got more assignments. I teared as Jackson and Lachlan were approaching the end of their academic year. So proud of the two brothers whom I taught since Lachie was in Grade 3 (He's a 5th Grader this year!) and even more touched at the amount of love they and their whole family give me. Reminded me of why I do this, how I got into doing this and who I am doing this for.

Myself -
Took up a new language - did a pretty good job, contemplating if I should do Advance in 2014. Tried to shed some pounds but gained it all back by the end of the year. I took up dodgeball again and is heavily involved in the YEC -almost like a new Celine was born after the whole fiasco with Koh. I learned new stuff, I found my mojo for old stuff and even put my foot forward in aiding the community.

2013 was fun but I wont want to go through it again. Instead of doing up a resolution and end up being sad at being unable to complete them within 365 days, I decided to do away with it this year and embrace quarter life crisis. Okay, I will add one - save - oh wait and another one - travel. I think its gonna be a challenge. Well, I am turning 25 in 5 months sooo... challenge accepted !

19 days into a brand new year, its never too late -

Gone for too long

HERRO.

I know you miss my awesomeness and I will accept all denials. muahaha.

It has been a long while cause lao niang aka I has been very busy with my mid-semester tests, presentations, assignments and all that nonsense that school has it requirements of me. Pfft. I know I will miss my schooling life for sure but... having a kinda plan to look forward to is also eggciting y'know!

Life has its ups and downs. Had my fair bit of downs recently and it took a lot for me to actually take courage and admit that I'm actually at fault. (yes I know, me?! haha. ya la. I admitted I had fault la) So, it was quite a time of change and growing up for me. On a brighter note, I ish very proud of my test results although I wish it could be better... asiandad.jpeg to be inserted here. And SSL girls attended a few events that we have yet to share with you guys! ERMAGHERDDDDDD.

You better WORK BITCH!

Everyone, no really, everyone knows how much I love love love Britney Spears. I dont have all of her albums but I do have all of her scents. And when someone asks me what perfume do I use, I proudly say "Its Britney, bitch."

I am so glad that she's back on track and of course, I am proud of her for getting back on track. Seeing your idol fall and rise up again, only reminds me of how human she is. She's like any one of us. At least, she didnt overdose and die coughcorycough.

Oktober @ Azur Restaurant Changi Airport, Singapore

Ad

With October here and beer, where can one go and have a quiet girly girls night out with a bunch of awesome girlfriends, without any chance of having our boyfriends/husband (Chris Chung, 2nd from the righ, is married) finding us?

Here! At Azur Restaurant @ Singapore Changi Airport, you can! Currently, because its October, Oktoberfeast is available for brunch and dinner - every weekend from 20th Sept to 5th Oct 2013.

You can't really go wrong with meat, meat, more meat and beer. Forget that you might discover something new about your tummy the next day.

The chef above was slicing those delicious, juicy, mouth watering pork knuckles. I usually stay away from them but I couldnt help to try. Was so crispy, I had to, like, have more!

Fill me up, Buttercup.

Azur, located at Crowne Plaza Hotel @ Changi Airport, also offers Bavarian Inspired dishes such as eggs cocotte with bacon, goulaschsuppe with herb and garlie croutons. What an Oktoberfeast!

Alright and before you think this is all that they have up their sleeves, you are dead wrong. One can also consume Asian dishes like (my favourite) Dimsum, Sushi and even padadum.

Sushiiiiii. SUUUUUUSSSHHHIIIII!

Chinese can't do work without rice, can we?

The canto in me really really got to stop this Dimsum business.

Indian!

And what's a buffet without angmoh food. Sausages, bacon, meat, potato, etc... my tummy just did a little dance while typing. Wish I could turn back time .

My date said the caramelized apple tasted delicious but it was a little too sweet for my liking. Perhaps, I am getting old. The only sweet things I can take are the romantic things laode does *smitten.

Nothing says seafood like fresh prawns, juicy scallops and chewy oysters. Too bad oldmantham doesnt take seafood. It could have been a deal breaker 'cause we dont share the same love for seafood and he may never peel a prawn for me ever if I didnt think "hey more for me!"

Of course, there has to be deserts! What a shrine. I can see unicorns, rainbows and glitter all over this photo.

Out of the entire shrine, oldmantham decided on these 4 to munch on. At this rate, he's gonna be crawling on the football field instead of running around. I might be able to get him the next time we are on the opposite team during dodgeball -insert evil plan(s)-.

So with him being old and all (not that old but I just like to tease him this way), I'd expect him to stay away from everything and anything sweet and sugary (except me). Instead we decided to spilt the assignment. I was already too full from the main so I had him try puddings and cake while I had ice cream, fruits and more cakes!

There was no way for me to not try the red velvet cupcake and apple crumble. My two favourite pastries. With this, I am completely sold. COMPLETELY SOLD. Even thinking about it now makes me.. crave. So lets go!

Oktoberfeast buffet prices for 28-29 Sep, 5-6 Oct:
Brunch - Adult $55++, Child $27.50++
Dinner - Adult $65++, Child $32.50++

Online reservations made on their website (link!) will be entitled to 15% off the total bill.

Azur is located in Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, level 2.

(and of course to view who #oldmantham is, all you got to do is add me on Instagram @robotgranny )
